On the 14th day of May in the year 2021, our individual paths had collided. I had just walked into the first day of paramedic school, nervous, excited, with a lot of unknowns and education ahead of me. Ryan, was also in the same room, in the front of the class, seated in a chair, looking back at all the other students, waiting to make known how our lives are going to suck in the next 12 months, but the time and effort will be worth it. His voice and commanding presence immediately caught my attention. I caught his attention a few months later when he noticed a button was missing on the Hawaiian shirt he wore that day. I noticed the puzzled look on his face and asked him if he was okay. He replied telling me his shirt is missing a button and he wasnt sure how it happened. I offered to fix it for him, which I did the same day while in class. Not long after that I got his number and sent him a text message saying, Mr. OReilly, and nothing else. To this day he will tell you he was sketched out by my message not expecting it to be me because no one sends a message like that unless youre in some sort of trouble. We have spoken to each other every single day since then and the rest is history. We made our relationship official January 5, 2022 and moved in together the following November. Ryan proposed on November 7, 2025 while we were at EDC Orlando (an electric dance music festival) surrounded by a group of friends where the moment was captured on video. We are very excited to start this next chapter in our lives together by joining our hands in marriage in front of our family and friends. &lt;3
